What We Collect
When you create an account or place an order on langskegg.com, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and any files you upload through our design collaboration portal. If you make a purchase, our payment processor (Square) handles your payment information directly — we never see or store your credit card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to fulfill your orders, collaborate on custom design projects, and communicate with you about your account. That’s it. We don’t use your information for marketing purposes unless you’ve specifically opted in to hear from us.
What We Share
Nothing. We do not sell, trade, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties. The only exceptions are the services required to run this site and process your orders:
- Payment processing — Square processes payments on our behalf. Their privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
- Email delivery — We use a transactional email service to send order confirmations and project notifications.
- Hosting — Our web host stores the site data, including your account information and uploaded files, on secure servers.
None of these services receive more information than they need to perform their function.
Your Files
Files you upload through the design collaboration portal are stored on our server and are only accessible to you and the Langskegg team. We do not share your files with anyone. When a project is completed, your files remain available in your account unless you ask us to remove them.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your shopping cart. We also use basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. To make any of these requests, email beard@langskegg.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We keep your account information and order history for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we’ll delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we’re required to retain records for tax or legal purposes.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we’ll post the changes here with a revised date. We won’t reduce your rights under this policy without notifying you.
