A one-of-a-kind end grain cutting board commemorating 250 years of American liberty. Walnut body with a maple inlay rendering the Liberty Bell, a banner reading “250 Years of Liberty,” and the dates 1776 and 2026.

- Construction: End grain — the cutting surface is the end of the wood fibers, the most durable orientation
- Woods: Walnut body, maple inlay
- Finish: Food-safe oil and Langskegg Wood Butter
Why End Grain
End grain cutting boards are easier on knife edges and self-heal between cuts. The fibers stand vertical instead of running horizontally, so the blade slips between them rather than slicing across them. The result: a cleaner cut, a sharper knife at the end of the day, and a board that takes years of daily use without showing it.
Care
Hand wash with mild soap, towel dry, and stand on edge to dry fully. Re-oil with food-safe mineral oil or Langskegg Wood Butter every few months to keep the wood from drying out. Never put it in the dishwasher.
